About The Dental Marketing Company

We're experts in our marketing dental practices. We've gained this expertise through experience in a broad array of industries, and focusing that talent on one deliverable: helping you grow your patient numbers.

Gone are the days of buying a 1/8 page ad space in the Yellow Pages. To attact more patients, you need to be not only a great, personable dentist, but you also need to have a digital presence. Word-of-mouth referrals can only get you so far. In order to grow your practice, and give you peace of mind that you have enough new patients to replace the patients that leave, a solid website that ranks well in online searches is paramount. We not only build these sites, but maintain and market them to help you continue to generate regular new patient inquiries.

About Kyle Hamilton

I didn't always have plans to become a leading marketing agency for dental practices... in fact, my original intention was to become a brain surgeon. However, thanks to life's many twists and turns, I chose a slightly different direction, and have been building a number of digital-focused marketing agencies over the last 2 decades,

The Dental Marketing Company is a new digital solutions provider for independently owned and operated dental practices. Having grown up in a family of dentists (my father was a dentist, my uncle was a dentist, one of my cousins is a dentist), I understand the behind-the-scenes life of being a dentist, and how valuable building a solid marketing process for your practice is. You probably didn't become a dentist because the thought of having your fingers in someone's mouth for 8hrs a day excited you. You likely enjoy working with your hands, but, more importantly, understand that a dental practice should be a means to providing you with a certain lifestyle. With my help, you can focus on the things that are most dear to you; be that spending time with family, giving back to your community, or just enjoying the peace and quiet of sitting on a dock at the lake. I understand that you didn't become a dentist to market your business, that's where we come in. If you're struggling with overwhelm from dealing with the day-to-day of operating a practice, can't make heads or tails of digital marketing, or looking to grow your practice to be in a better position to sell it, I'd love to have a chat, no obligations, just click the button below.

Introducing The Dental C-Suite Podcast: Because Your Practice Deserves an Executive Team (Yes, Really)

Let's address the elephant in the operatory: most dental practices are run like small businesses from 1987.

The dentist does everything. The office manager does everything else. Everyone's wearing seventeen hats, nobody knows which hat they're supposed to be wearing at any given moment, and the idea of having a "Chief [insert your current issue here] Officer" sounds about as realistic as having a company jet.

But here's the thing: your practice is a business. And if it's generating seven figures in revenue, it deserves to be run like one.

Which is why I've partnered with Charlie Beaulieu (Tidal Accounting) and Jess Bereti (Modern HR Solutions) to launch The Dental C-Suite Podcast, where we talk about building the executive infrastructure your practice needs to thrive.

What Even Is a C-Suite? (And Why Should You Care?)

The C-Suite is corporate speak for your executive team. Chief Executive Officer. Chief Financial Officer. Chief Marketing Officer. Chief Human Resources Officer.

In a Fortune 500 company, these are different people with corner offices and expense accounts that could fund your local municipality.

In your dental practice? These are roles, not necessarily people. And understanding these roles, even if you're the one wearing all the hats, changes everything.

Here's Why This Matters

When you're in "dentist mode," you're thinking about treatment plans, clinical outcomes, and whether that crown prep is going to need a redo.

When you're in "CEO mode," you're thinking about practice vision, growth strategy, and whether opening a second location makes sense.

When you're in "CFO mode," you're analyzing your overhead percentage, profit margins per procedure, and why your hygiene department's production dropped 12% last quarter.

Same person. Different thinking. Totally different decisions.

Most practice owners toggle between these modes randomly throughout the day, making whatever decision feels most urgent in the moment. The result? Chaos disguised as productivity.

What We Will Cover on The Dental C-Suite Podcast

Each episode dives into the executive functions that actually matter for running a successful dental practice:

The CEO Perspective

  • Vision and strategic planning (beyond "see more patients")

  • Leadership and team culture

  • Growth strategy (when to expand, when to optimize)

  • Exit planning (because eventually, you'll want to retire)

The CFO Lens

  • Understanding your real numbers (not just what your accountant emails you in April)

  • Profit per procedure analysis

  • Managing overhead without cutting corners

  • Smart investment decisions for equipment and technology

The CMO Approach

  • Marketing that actually generates quality new patients

  • Internal marketing and patient retention strategies

  • Building a brand that stands out in a crowded market

The CHRO Mindset

  • Systems and processes that prevent chaos

  • Team management and accountability

  • Onboarding and retention

Who This Podcast Is For

You should listen if:

  • You're a practice owner who feels like you're working in the business instead of on it

  • You have a successful practice but know it could run better (if you just had time to figure out how)

  • You're tired of making decisions based on gut feeling when you'd rather have actual data

  • You want to build something bigger than a job with a drill

  • You've ever thought "there has to be a better way to do this"

You can skip this podcast if:

  • You're perfectly happy being a solo practitioner who just wants to do dentistry (genuinely, no judgment)

  • You think "business stuff" is boring and beneath you

  • You believe patients will just show up because you're good at dentistry

  • You're already crushing it with a fully systematized practice and executive team (in which case, want to be a guest?)

A Promise (and a Warning)

Here's my promise: this podcast won't be full of dental industry jargon, corporate buzzword bingo, or advice so generic it could apply to a bakery as easily as a dental practice.

We're going to talk about real challenges. Actual numbers. Specific strategies you can implement next week. Real. World. Situations.

The warning? Once you start thinking about your practice through the lens of different executive roles, you can't unsee it. You'll start noticing inefficiencies everywhere. You'll realize your "marketing strategy" is actually just hoping Google Reviews does the heavy lifting. You'll understand why your profit margins are thinner than they should be.

This awareness is uncomfortable. It's also the first step to building something remarkable.

Let's Build Better Practices Together

A successful practice is built around people, profit, and performance. The three pillars of this are your HR, your bookkeeping/accounting, and your marketing. This is why the three of us, (Jess, Charlie, and myself) have come together to create this resource for dentists.

Clinical excellence should win. But clinical excellence plus business sophistication? That's unstoppable.
